I am burnt the fukk out fellas. Seriously considering turning in my two weeks and taking a break from working for at least 6 months.
Contemplated this for since May, think I have enough saved & already have a couple jobs I can give a call too whenever I feel like taking them seriously

This job hunt getting depressing for someone with such little experience as me. It feels like I am competing with millions of people right now :francis:.

Gonna collect these unemployment checks for a little while longer, while I now try to learn Python:unimpressed:.

I had to relocate to another city to find my first IT job. When you do find a job it's almost guaranteed to be trash. If it wasn't for being able to job hop for more money I would throw IT in the bushes.

Any tips for relocating for an IT job? Trying to be out of NYC by late next year
I had to pick places I had friends or family there already. That way I had a leg up on navigating the area and learning which companies to avoid. The market now is trash so hopefully people start quitting in mass forcing companies to increase hiring.

did you adjust your address on your resume based on the different friends and family locations? I’ve seen some advice like that

I’m thinking of taking a short lease somewhere and look for work but I’m also thinking of doing contract to contract in different cities just to be a tourist

I've done that also used my family member address before I even moved. Then if I got the job I would go ahead and relocate.

If you have time on your hands, get into a company with multiple offices, maybe one where you want to go. After 6 months of shining inquire about doing your role from the other office. they may just move you.

How much notes is too much notes? I’m taking to long getting this very and I think I’m overthinking this I over studying.

I got a book worth of notes for the CCNA but I keep rescheduling due to I’m not ready yet.

I’m moving to Port Saint Lucie in a month and then I’m going somewhere else not decided yet. Just getting out of this rent.

You probably need to spend an equal amount of time doing labs as you spend studying. That's the only sure fire way to retain information when you can visualize it.

Yeah I'm do that, the CCNA is entry level but it's pretty deep. I got most the stuff down but I don't want to lose my 300 dollars...

I always search job ads for roles and see what certs they require. Then I get those certs and use them to finesse companies for jobs or higher pay. For example I know lots of companies that are big on ITIL methodology. So I went out and got that piece of crap ITIL Foundation certification despite having zero interest in it. Just because I kept seeing it on job ads.
