I need to start studying for aws devops pro and azure certs.
The cloud game don changed, you need more than basic certs to get noticed now. Multi cloud and pro certs seem to be the way cuz I got Aws sa and dev at the start of the year, and got like one phone call despite multiple applications.
I had the impression recruiters would come flooding. However corona definitely dried up the number of jobs. My LinkedIn notifications for new cloud roles had way way fewer jobs during March/April/May than pre-corona. Seems to be picking back up tho.
The Corona situation got nikkas slacking like a mug tho
I thought I would take advantage of working from home. Improved my JavaScript but my efficiency been flabby asf
You using CF or TF?
That's kinda why I'm tryna get on this cloud wave.. I can live in a linux terminal and vscode all day, but I'm tired of logging into routers, switches and firewalls, and trying to code logic for hardware that has no or limited api support.

Is the Security in Google Cloud Platform Specialization a good cert to go after?
Not sure where you at but look for a gov help desk job. Got my sec+ and The pay is decent plus you can get a security clearance on top.i think a bulk of my lack of luck trying to find a job is perhaps i come off desperate. But honestly I am. I want a new job bad, financially i'm not secure. I want a position that helps me learn more and i grow to love in this industry that i've saw as a potential fit for my passion.
I know my resume doesn't reflect that, I've been working with various services to highlight what I have done to show my transferrable skills...but still nothing.
I don't know what else I can do in the mean time. I do not yet have the certifications, and I fear stacking too many may shoot me in the foot. Once I complete this one certification, and god willing I pass the first go round, there's two certs that wouldn't take as much time to grasp the material that I seek to obtain within the next 2 months and then I embark on ITIL v4. But I'm hoping in the mean time i could get some type of job...
maybe i should just start from bottom and get a minimum wage help desk role. May go completely bankrupt, but at this rate it's my only option.
You haven't been working on any cloud projects lol. I finished 3 and have been getting alot of hits for devops jobs.
I live in Canada, and I already have 3 government clearances (Secret - federal, general - provincial and about to obtain an enhanced one if this manager can pull off a shadowing opportunity for my jobs SOC)Not sure where you at but look for a gov help desk job. Thanks for thisAnyone have the contact info for bzille? He gave me a resume website that was completely open source and I forgot the name, I think it's dev something... it's a site where a people just upload their resumes.

I honestly think it’s my location. I see so many jobs in dc that I could probably try my luck, but sponsorships are hard to get. Not impossible, but fukking hard under y’all fukkboy of a president.
once I get this sec+ I do pray opportunities start to come to me
