Actually, I'm not even certain the USA could make it happen even if they wanted to. Israel would probably go to war rather than allow and they have a very well-trained, well-equipped military and fukking nukes.

Yeah at this point that would be a very difficult ask. Israel is an out of control monster now, Mossad is exceptional, the country is formidable in cyber warfare, and their military is top 10.

I think the only way it happens is if it turns into another major regional conflict that cripples shipping through the Suez. There has to be a severe economic threat to bring the whole world to bear and dismantle Israel as a whole.
