Besides Israel is a democracy no one wants a bunch of disaffected Afghanis in this country and people are still crying about the allies we left behind.

I believe that it's more nuanced than what they're saying.

For example There's Bedouins, Irseali Arabs, Ethiopians, Druze and Circassions fighting for Isreal now. In fact the only difference between a Palestinan and an Israeli Arab is a Palestinian wants a Arab homeland in either the west bank and gaza or in what is Israel itself basically a Israeli arab is a Palestinan c00n.

A bedouin is a traditional arab that lives in a tent like they did thousands of years ago. They don't fukk with city arabs so they join the Israeli army out of spite.

The Druze and Circasions are non arab minorities that just join the army of the country they happen to live in the ones that Live in Lebonon and Syria are in their respective armies.

I guess there's a push for more political rights for the people who are in the iDF as a whole and for recognition for those who actualy fight for the IDF in particular. For example almost the entirity of the Israeli elite outside of certain businessmen and celebrities are in the IDF in some capacity.

Gal Gadot is in the IDF but obviously she ain't on the front lines so if a Druze dies and is a hero then I guess they want that to mean something.
