As for Avery Bradley, who was covered in our Most Improved Player of the First Trimester submission over the weekend, he's trying to become the most prolific 6-foot-2 rebounder in NBA history. Bradley leads the Celtics at 7.5 rebounds per game this season; Hall of Famer Jerry West is the only player in league history to be listed at 6-2 or shorter to average more rebounds per game (7.9 in 1961-62) over the course of a full season.

"I don't think they were figuring on him being ready this early. He makes a lot of mistakes defensively, but he gives effort and he can make up for it with his length. He has a long way to go, and his ceiling is going to be pretty high.
"But he has already shown he can be a 3-and-D guy, his perimeter shooting has been very good and I am impressed with how good he is from the corners. If you start with that skill set and you see his athleticism -- he is a great dunker, he just needs more confidence -- he could wind up being one of the best players in this draft."
