As far as overall taste and quality of food/experience Chik-Fil-A is better, but Zaxby's is still essential and great
If you're hungover or looking for a shyt ton of chicken Zaxby's is the way to go, but don't front and act like Zaxby's isn't expensive itself.

Side note, That coke freestyle machine is easily the best fountain drink machine ever. It has more combos than the coke factory in Atlanta had when I was a kid

I don't know why yall like that Zaxby's sauce so much. shyt is the same sauce they have at Guthries. It's ok but it ain't like that. If anything they BBQ sauce is underrated as hell.
It has you craving shyt you never even knew you liked

they close, but Zaxby's gets the W for having a better overall menu like you said and the fact that they were first. I think Cane's pretty much copied their style.
IMO between the two it goes,
Chicken is a draw
Fries are a draw
Sauce is a draw
Zaxby's Drinks > Cane's Drinks (although both got that crushed ice)
Cane's Toast > Zaxby's Toast
