Slightly off topic but, while I understand the whole replacing C with B and vice versa within gang culture vernacular, calling Compton, Bompton, is a prime example of trying too hard. Seriously guys? Bompton? What if your mom is in the hospital and her name is Connie? They're not gonna let you see her if you keep telling the nurse that you came to visit Bonnie Jenkins in room 405-B.

Just b/c somebody didn't specifically live there doesn't mean they're not from there. If he spent a significant amount of time there and fukks with the ppl there heavily then he's from there

wtf this is not true at all

people who were actually born and raised in a place that someone who "fukks w/ the ppl there heavily" claims can and will pull their card at any time

Not in LA

it's not about the neighborhood, it's about tha gang itself

LA is a very mobile place

Nowadays in LA due to a lot of blacks moving out, and areas turning Hispanic, cats get put on a gang and might live somewhere else, but they still come through and hang in the blocks where that the gang historically claims, they also put in work over there, then go home to wherever they currently live

that's real common place these days in LA especially on the east side where historical black gangs used to claim turf in and the black demographic has shifted to the outskirts of the city

This is a prime example of thinking too hard.
