Dude that shyt opened up my mind to a lot of different kinds of music. For one thing, it introduced me to a lot of hip hop from other parts of the country. I grew up in BK, and Hot 97 rarely played anything West Coast or from the South.

It’s a mostly talented roster bogged down by bad booking. Basically the same as today, except with hindsight since you know in 95 they’d turn the ship around the next year. Whereas these days they’re making money hand over fist and the product couldn’t be worse

Didnt that match have the Monster Truck shyt??I remember watching WCW Uncensored that year and just being all with it to where I left it alone,sadly it would be all Hot wit the nWo stuff a year later and I didn't really bother to tune into it outside of Nitro
