A lot of speculation that all these talent and employee releases and Nick Khan reshuffling the company is a sign of a potential sale in the future:

It’s the way of modern big business, so it’s absolutely possible. If the news breaks soon, I wouldn’t be shocked

Seems to be the case, especially if more releases keep coming. Wonder how much of this is a sign of how Vince's health is; I don't think there would be any chance of them being sold if Vince was a few years younger. Pretty safe to say Triple H would be the Dana White of WWE if they were to sell.

Wouldn't be surprising.

The moves they've been making on the corporate/office side are the types that you see after a company merges with another via purchasing/getting purchased.

It's either that, or the company was run in an incredibly inefficient fashion, and Nick Khan came through and started talking real business sense.

Hoenstly, both are entirely plausible and believable.

Its unavoidable at this point. Usually when a company shows the positives over the main negatives (endeavors, corning cutting, etc), its a dead giveaway of a company that is about to get sold. The pandemic alone killed wrestling regardless of what marks will paint with a rose colored brush:

  • The indies are dried the hell up
  • NJPW is in a WOAT place due to COVID taking its toll
  • DDT....:mjcry:at least NOAH is somewhat striving in these dire events
  • IMPACT is a roach that won't die
  • AEW is slowly feeling the blues with TNT not understanding this wrasslin thing:skip:

WWE is thriving because of their history, but the grim reality is that they are in a world of shyt due to the "Fox" deal and now the "NBC" deal. I'm convinced that there is some business issues that are not being sorted out because of all of these potential moves that sadly got fukked with the pandemic.

Overall, I said this from day 1 that wrestling is slowly going to be in a sad state of affairs, along with a company somehow restoring the feeling but not on the level of the 90s. Just enough to keep a dying industry afloat.
