Is US worth watching?

It's a cool joint, but not the same level as Get Out.

I liked it, but it got a bit too contrived at the end which kind of ruined it for me. I like putting it on as background noise from time to time though.

Would I recommend it?

The first 2 thirds are entertaining but the ending was trying too hard to be clever and it didn't work. If the premise was made simpler and more Stephen King-esque and it would have worked a lot better.

I think I was very positive about it after first seeing it, but on reflection, nah. The ending puts a big dent in it.

Yes. Easily worth watching. Actually like it more the more I’ve watched it. The tension is thick and obviously the narrative works on several levels. It goes into horror movie logic in the third act but if you haven’t bought into the first two, then yeah that third will bother you. Dope horror flick that doesn’t work as well for me as Get Out does but it’s a much more visceral slasher. It’s like comparing invasion of the body snatchers to a nightmare on elm st
