Is UGK “UnderGround Kingz” top 2 greatest double disc hip hop album of all time?

I think so, if not top 2 it’s the greatest. Debuted at #1 and sold over 160,000 copies first week. Too many classic records from Swishas & Dosha, Gravy, Game Belong To Me, Players Anthem, Like Dat Remix, Quit Hatin The South, Cocaine, How Long Can It Last, etc.

Even the features, down to the subject matter it was one of the most influential & ageless rap albums that has been released in 20 years.

Also it’s to be noted Pimp passed not to long after the album dropped, so bout time Christmas hit the album became very eerie & sad to listen too definitely alot of nostalgia with this shyt. Long live the pimp

The recent Blu and Exile joint was the best double in recent memory for me

It depends on if I'm looking at it objectively or personally.

Objectively, I'd say top 5. Those switch around but hard to say definitively which is best.

Personally, it's my favorite behind All Eyez On Me.

Truth be told, I listen to it more than any other double album though.
