That promo made no sense. He big ups Punk and then takes credit for actually doing everything Punk said he'd do. Randomly buries reDRagon, NXT, Brody King, Jay Lethal, screams about not turning heel because the fans supported him but then bytches about the fans. What the fukk is this dude so mad about?

He's mad that smarks turned on him severely, to the point that he's the one face in AEW that gets booed, despite being a big part of building an alternative to WWE that they clamored for for all those years. it's not hard to figure out.

He didnt bury Brody King or Jay Lethal. Lethal especially, no idea where you got that from. He buried NXT and WWE's naming system for a pop of course. I don't know who ReDragon is, he did seem to bury them though. If they're AEW young guys then I have no idea why he buried them.

ReDragon is Kyle O Reilly and Bobby Fish.

He kinda buried Brody King by acting like it was disrespectful to be named Brody when he's had that name (presumably) for years and Brodie Lee's real name isn't even Brodie in the first place

fr it's so annoying. I get that they might be trying to win some fan respect back before actually going heel, but these kind of promos are ones that kill whatever longterm angle they're trying to run here.
