Outside of PG, Kawhi, and Zu they need to rebuild the whole team. You can't count on them for a whole season but you're not getting anything close back in value. I'd rather the team run this into the ground until they have their first round picks again which I think is 2027. Also they're not opening a new arena with bones hyland and air Coffey as the stars.

They’re this generation version of Yao/TMac . I felt this way back in November but wanted to wait til their season ended to confirm and yeah that’s the verdict. I feel for them since I’m a hosuton fan who had to endure the Yao/TMac era and what-if’s scenarios because of two stars not being able to stay healthy.

Disingenuous?

Do you think the posts I just quoted of yours came from a place of being genuine or were you just hating by posting nonsense?

No a healthy clippers team would go farther imo, those posts you quoted were from
January/March. Since then pg was injured kahwi was out after game 2 & they added Westbrook who sucks. Like I said you got it but it’s disingenuous gloating

You mean when you were "gloating" when the Warriors had injuries/absences of their own? When Steph and Wiggins were both out.

You can't talk all that shyt when you perceived things were going your way, and then end up with egg all over your shyt and come with this bu-bu-but you're being disingenuous bullshyt. If the Warriors suffered injuries and crashed out in the 1st round would that stop you from 'gloating"? Of course, not. You'd be bumping posts and tagging me.

You're just mad that GS proved you wrong, once again.

There's a reason why you still can't give them props for beating the Kings and showing up on the road when it mattered most (after you shyt on them all season for their away record).

What?

Continuing with the PG & Kawhi experiment is a terrible idea.

Sure nobody sane would take on their contracts but both are total liabilities in the Playoffs. Not sometimes. All the time.

Just the stress about possibly not having them in the Playoffs is a drain on the team.

They need to do EVERYTHING in their power (including going deep into the luxury tax) to get a legit 3rd superstar.

Then they need to lock up Russell Westbrook, who was the silver lining of these playoffs for 2-3 or more years.

If you can’t get rid of them (and you probably can’t), yes the only way to be a contender of any sorts is to get a Damian Lillard type super player and pay insane amounts in salary.

Their owner is a billionaire, so technically it’s possible. But it’ll be $40-45 million on top of everything every year ($160-190m for 4 years)

It is that OR suffer each year, play well through the season (I saw the Clippers play the Nets in Brooklyn, and both PG and Kawhi are clearly world class players that are easily the best players on their team) and get that Woj alert that Kawhi this or PG that at the end of the season or during the playoffs (like this year) over and over and over again.

@god shamgod and @Gil Scott-Heroin arguing with the exact same arguments is comedy.

I know Gil behaves like a straight BYTCH on the regular, so let’s get this out the way now:

You don’t play for the Warriors.
I do not play for the Lakers.

We can root but have 0.0 influence.

So whatever happens in that Warriors-Lakers series, don’t @ me because I will for sure not @ you.

And unlike you, I can say “Those Warriors are great” and “Steph is special”.

Now HOP OFF and don’t reply. I know you’re mad. But calm down, your boys won. It’s a good day.

I have 0 beefs with God Shamgod and I actually think you both make decent points.

You don't get rid of those two and improve based on what you get back. They're 30+ and injury prone. There's no upside. They do need a third star I won't know that there's a path to get one.
