this is such a broad exaggeration, and I'm sick of seeing it. SNL has been hit or miss since day 1, you ever watch those "golden Belushi years?" they suck. Every episode has at least 1 good sketch, and the Weekend Update snark is usually on point, but their bad sketches are just so much worse than the good ones are good... does that make sense?

The cast right now isn't bad at all. When Sudekis and Hader leave it will be a problem though. The 3 new girls are actually very good imo, but there's no breakout male star in the cast right now once those 2 leave. Moynahan and Killam aren't going to be big stars, and Jay Pharaoah is Michael Winslow without the sound effects.

The new dude Tim Robinson has such a weird face that he might actually blow up. I can see him getting bit roles in a ton of movies down the line because he's so damn funny looking.

Kenan and Armesin are just biding their time, they gotta go soon.

Nasim Pedrad is really cute, but her voice and characters are really annoying and they barely use her. Vanessa Bayer is goofy, awful, and arguably the worst performer on the show.

Am I forgetting anyone?

I am attracted to Vanessa Bayer and her weird teeth. Other than that, c/s.

Also Keenan is not leaving on his own. They will have to eventually force him out.

yea...the whole concept of that sketch was a major reach

I'm watching it now, and I had to pause it because your comment is what made me wanna see it in the first place
You see, what you said is so to me because this is the point of sketch comedy.. to do shyt that sometimes can and will be a reach.
You think this is a reach compared to the things they have done over the 40yrs its been in existence?
Now if they can pull it off, thats another question. I'm about to continue, but I laughed when the doorbell rang and the host had to catch himself.. Ill continue my review in 4min...


EDIT: Yeeah, the sketch overall was pretty bad. But it has everything to do with who is in it rather than the idea.
This is the perfect sketch for a person like Will Ferrell or Adam Sandler..or even going further back, Eddie Murphdog.
And I must add in Chris Farley and .. well, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Michael Myers.. all these ppl would shine in a sketch that had no business being funny

i can understand people thinking she's cute sometimes but she has about as much sex appeal as... i dont have a comparison. she has no sex appeal, and she makes the same damn goofy face in every sketch. she also might be the least versitle in the cast. watch her as the latina maid in the Californians, it's horrific and im pretty sure its the same accent as that stupid asian sketch (where she looks cutest to me)

Yeah that Asian skit was good at first but they ran it into the ground like everything else, and she cant do the Japanese accent the right way like Killiam does.

I think I only like her because of the Miley Cyrus sketches.

I agree all the new girls are pretty good. The first time they did that girlfriends talkshow sketch was much better than it was this past saturday, though.
