Yoo people really don't understand how strong these animals are

The monkey scene in NOPE was based on a true story

Lady had a chimp as a pet and that chimp literally ripped her friend's face off

Chimps are inherently more violent than orangutans. Chimps share 99% dna to humans vs 97% orangutans.

Chimpanzees live in groups of 20 to 30 individuals, which can grow up to several dozen as opposed to that of orangutans that have a peaceful solitary lifestyle. Chimpanzees also have a complex social structure and instinct to call each other when imminent danger surfaces. They are used to violent behavior and are more likely to get into physical confrontations.

Orangutans, despite their size and brute strength, are said to be gentle apes. Male chimpanzees often fight mainly for social dominance and other things that there have even been records of them attacking and killing people. In contrast, male orangutans rarely engage in fights except when it is over their mate or territory.
