Ive been to a couple Nas shows over the years..and its true that he forgets his lines, is out of breath, and doesnt sound as focused as he should be..but this one was just amazing.

I blame it on the weed and alochol..but hes been stepping up lately though.

Hes been performing sober i think :pachaha:

I went to one a couple years ago, 2006 I think in Montreal, small ass venue, not more than 500 people there

that shyt was so live... girls throwing bras on stage, nikkas throwing blunts and weed to nas, venue was packed with smoke from all those blunts

One Mic is always special live

:wow:

Saw him live in 07 at the Tabernacle in Atlanta. shyt was epic. He went through almost EVERY song in his catalogue and ripped it. Never forgot a line and wasn't out of breath.

you do realize that he knows the fans know his lines and thats why he takes those breaks right? so the fans and the hype man can scream the line. thats his performance style. yall know this right?

Its beyond this performance breh, like i said..the shows ive attended were basically the same..he often ran out of breath.

Doing so many shows in such little time can take its toll..so i dont blame em.

Stillmatic/Godson era Nas was untouchable. His live performances were best then. I can't really compare it to any earlier though.

But on another note. Does any one remember that MTV series, I think it was unplugged but it was similar to VH1's storytellers where artists do a few songs in a small venue (like 30 people) and explain every track. Nas was featured on that show back maybe around 2005-6 and had some good performances and told a lot about his life/music. Maybe someone has a link to footage of it.

All I remember is him performing One Mic (i think) over the Juicy instrumental.

Was it called Life & Rhymes? I remember what your talking about and I always wanted to see Nas's performance but I missed it that night. I recall the old Nas BBS saying his One Mic was dope as hell
