They're the Rotten Tomatoes of music review.

I meant in terms of where people go to find out what music or movie is hip to watch or listen to. Hipsters go to Pitchfork, movie snobs go to rotten tomatoes and use it as a barometer as to what's hot.

Get it now?

AGAIN.....Pitchfork is the main place the nerds and hipsters to. No shyt there's other places, but PF and RT are the top echelons for there respected categories.

And when the records are playing, it's hard to begrudge them their 30-yard stare. Paid in Full, the debut, is more laidback and funky, though padded at seven vocals and three instrumentals

That article has an example of how they really don't even understand what they're even reviewing...those were not "Instrumentals".
