WWE Stars Having "Mental Issues" On The Main Roster | WrestleTalk

There are people who would rather go to the main roster, but when they get to the main roster, that’s when they start having mental issues. The problem is with these guys that people don’t realize is that when they go up there and they’re booked to fail and they fail it really weighs on them. These are guys who have been nothing but successful for years and years and years at everything they’ve done and everything’s been a positive. Then all of a sudden, you start thinking and you start second-guessing yourself.

How many guys have you seen who are great, who are booked like sh*t and all of a sudden, I don’t want to say they start wrestling like sh*t, but they don’t start wrestling like when they were good. It’s because they start second-guessing themselves and they begin to think that maybe I’m not that good.”

Dana Brooke Says WWE's Stop/Start Pushes Make Her Emotional

Dana Brooks said:
It makes me really emotional because I know I can do this and I hate the start, stop, right? I hate it because it goes deep, it makes me excited. What am I excited for if it’s always a start and stop? Why can’t I go? Why can’t I run with something? Why can’t I just go out there and show the world, show people [backstage] that I can do this? It’s always start, stop. ‘Oh, you wanna do Titus Worldwide and be a statistician?’ Okay, I never complain, I never ask for things. I just always do what is asked of me thinking that I’ll get somewhere and then it’s like no and then going out there and cutting a heartfelt promo to the fans with Ronda Rousey. I was like, ‘Wow, this is everything’ which was a great opportunity, but then I was injured and then not being able to perform and carry that story anymore. Like you said, just sitting at the sidelines and being like, ‘Alright, maybe another time. Maybe another time will come.’”

Dana Brooks said:
And I’m such a team player and I’m such a WWE girl that anything I do, everywhere I possibly go in the public’s eye, any interviews that I’m doing, I try to do things as far as talk about how good this company is in general as doing the outside community work with them and always trying to put WWE on a platform and it’s like, ‘But what I am getting from [it]?’ I’m trying to be the best possible person I can be but there’s nothing behind me to drive me to the next point and being with Mandy [Rose], it’s like I hope and I pray but at this point, it’s like I try not to get my hopes up.”

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
What about Vader? He was a monster in the early 90's until Hoegan showed up and then went to WWF. He got a strong debut in Rumble and even took out Gorilla Monsoon the next night and then later that year, he ran into the force known as HBK and it was a slow fall from there, sadly. :francis:

It's almost exclusively a WWE category. The other company I'd throw in there is NJPW.

WWE just does a good job of producing their midcarders and trash to make people believe they could be a world champ. Throw a titantron and some fireworks on a Rusev and people think WWE misused him, when the reality is he was probably never World Title material there. WWE produced the fukk out of Moxley and had people thinking he was going to spearhead a WWE takedown. LMAO
Whats funny is half agree and half disagree

I agree with the part that the WWE production builds a midcarder to a "main eventer" via fresh new color schemes, new pyro, and big cool theme music but Rusev definitely proved viable to be a "playoff main eventer" meaning he may never be a Franchise Player like Cena or Reigns but he was a belivable playoff contending superstar to challenge for the world title against Cena or Reigns at a Wrestlemania main event slot. It just never happened.

His fall off in AEW is ridiculous. I think Cody just doesn't want WWE rejects coming in and dominating homegrown AEW talent like TNA did 10 years ago but Rusev should have been the exception to the rule

I haven't been watching AEW but you can't throw everyone straight into the main event. Because often you would either have to pass the belt around too much and make it lose value or you will be forced to make each new hot talent lose title matches straight out of the gate.

I mean, for as minor and largely ignored as NWA is these days the one thing they have done right is to not diminish the prestige of the belt. Nick Aldis has that belt looking important as fukk even though the words to describe how average an in-ring talent he is haven't been been invented yet.

Recent memory.....Stings bum ass...and the way be let WWE ho him out:russ:

Rusev dont count because dude was never a big deal

Bret Hart in WCW sadly....say it was mishandled or whatever but WCW didnt really seem to see Bret as Da man

Daniel Bryan and Cm Punk....(If EcW counts then so does ROH) WWE made sure to make them boys prove they weren't overrated.

Im sure there's tons more
