Yup we played floor hockey tornys in junior high gym class and it was low key one of the most anticipated sports we played.

You can even play in shoes without skates or without being on ice or without roller blades. Super good workout in my opinion.

if you play in a league not only it's expensive but it's time consuming for the parents who have take the kid + equipment to practice + kids growing out of the equipment

I can see that, if you're trying to join a league, ice hockey, trying to go pro, etc.
Perhaps you can start up a brand new sport that would be more affordable?

Black people can and do excel at anything but it starts with the youth. Getting black kids into schools that already offer these sports programs and bringing these programs to black schools is the hard part.

You named three guys. There are thirty teams in the NHL. How many of them have black players on the roster?
When you look at baseball, basketball and football pro teams, there are multiple black players on every team and some teams, they are the majority.
And if you go down into the semi-pro and collegiate levels, there is still a small number of black hockey players.

Man please. Not only is Hamilton a 3x F1 Champion, dude is probably the definition of cool in the sport right now. He in music, fashion, hollywood, dude is everywhere and embraces his blackness and his status.

The rule to black athletes in these types of sports is, as long as he make folks uncomfortable with his awesomeness (like Tiger Woods in his prime), we only need one.
