Is There A Reason Why Disney/Marvel Aren't Buying Back Their Movie Properties?

I'm glad Marvel didn't own the rights to Spidey and the Xmen. It forced them to use other characters and get creative. They would have been shoving Spidey and Wolverine down our throats for the past 10 years like they do with their comic books. :beli:

Sort of like how WB/DC is shoving Batman and Superman flicks down our collective throats for the last 30 years.
Honestly though, the studios know these characters are guaranteed ticket draws.
GoTG sort of widened the playing field which is a good thing actually.

It will have to be similar to the comics version since the film version of Blade was created by Snipes and Goyer. So certain aspects and characters like Whistler will not be included since he was created only for the movies. Unless Marvel will have to pay New Line Aka Warner Bros. to include him.

I'm going based off the leaked emails

And good LORD if those two ASM's weren't the definition of mediocre. Garfield was the best thing about those flicks they made the Sam Raimi trilogy look like the fukking Godfather
they were the Godfather. Two awesome flicks and a 3rd that doesn't exist :mjpls:

Universal has Solo movie rights to Hulk if I'm not mistaken

That'd explain why they haven't made another hulk movie even though it's in demand

I think Universal only has Distribution rights for The Incredible Hulk.

That means there no excuse for not putting out another hulk movie by now :mindblown:

Disney probably wants the Distribution rights & Universal ain't giving it up.

While Bruce Banner actor Mark Ruffalo claimed earlier this year that Universal was holding up a new film, that reportedly isn't entirely accurate
