I think Universal only has Distribution rights for The Incredible Hulk.

I'm glad Marvel didn't own the rights to Spidey and the Xmen. It forced them to use other characters and get creative. They would have been shoving Spidey and Wolverine down our throats for the past 10 years like they do with their comic books.

I'm glad Marvel didn't own the rights to Spidey and the Xmen. It forced them to use other characters and get creative. They would have been shoving Spidey and Wolverine down our throats for the past 10 years like they do with their comic books.

Sort of like how WB/DC is shoving Batman and Superman flicks down our collective throats for the last 30 years.
Honestly though, the studios know these characters are guaranteed ticket draws.
GoTG sort of widened the playing field which is a good thing actually.

It will have to be similar to the comics version since the film version of Blade was created by Snipes and Goyer. So certain aspects and characters like Whistler will not be included since he was created only for the movies. Unless Marvel will have to pay New Line Aka Warner Bros. to include him.
