Is there a reason we can listen to FM radio on our phones but can't watch TV?

All I gotta do is plug in my headphone jack and boom-- instant radio stations.

But if I'm tryna catch some shyt on the the public channels like ABC, CBS, etc there's NOTHING for it :why: What's up with that? :what:

Side note: That's what Byron Allen should be looking into IMO.

I WISH THERE WAS A WAY FOR ME TO CATCH UP ON ALL MY FAVORITE SHOWS PAST AND PRESENT. EVEN BETTER IF I COULD WATCH THEM ON THE GO. THEY SHOULD CALL IT STREAMING OR SOMETHING. EVEN BETTER IF THEY DID IT WITH MUSIC TOO.

SIDENOTE: JAY Z SHOULD BE WORKING ON IT.

This shyt is simple and y'all are really letting go over your heads :mjlol: I'm not talking about streaming services.

If I plug in my headphone jack I can tune and listen to local radio stations. I'm not on Spotify, or iHeartRadio, etc. My has literally phone become an FM radio :dwillhuh:

Why can't we do this with local television? Those signals are being broadcasted 24/7 so how come, in 2019, we aren't able to receive them on your smartphones? :dwillhuh:

Are y'all following me here or is somebody about to say something about Disney+ coming? :dwillhuh:

But it would MAKE money :mindblown: more people actually watching public channels again cuz they can access it on their phone
It all comes down to the fees networks pay cable companies. They only gonna give you access if you already paying lol.

I'm talking about shyt that DOESN'T use data. Just the signals like your car radio/tv

Show me :lupe:

Most tv signals are digital now, hence why in most cases you need a cable box to decode the signal to properly watch network tv outside of the basic channels. Our phones would need the hardware or aoftware that decodes that providers signal to allow access.

Cable is something else but we're not paying anything for basic television.

Track and Field is about to come on NBC, why the fukk should I pay somebody to watch it on a tiny screen when I can already watch it for free on a 50"? :what: I just gotta be home

We don't pay but I believe they pay to be on cable systems.
