What's good with my breh Deng :dwillhuh: my guy out ere averaging 6pts 5rebs ...he's falling back and letting the young guys eat that much ?
No he's not falling back. That's giving him too much credit. He looks done. We have a theory on lakersground.net that he thought it was a rebuilding year so he didn't really work out in the offseason on some fukk it we gonna lose anyways type shyt. He's really :flabbynsick: . He disgusts me. I hope there's an amnesty in the new cba.

The answer is because these guys ( who actually lived in Africa, Iggy doesnt count) were scouted solely as exceptional athletes with crazy measurables.

Almost all were very raw ball players before the NBA, who were recruited/drafted specifically based on what they may do with their measurables/athletic potential.

No, it's diet.

ANYONE who goes overseas for an extended period of time will tell you that food taste more "real" everywhere

And of course the US allows so many chemicals in food that other countries don't

So, let's chill on the genes thing
Yall both wrong, but you less so :skip:

These guys are not representative of the countries theyre from theyre all exceptional athletes with wild measurables. Average Congolese dude for example isnt nearly 7 foot with Biyombo's wingspan.

Also if it was just diet/nature, then African athletes would be medalling at a similar level as AA athletes at the Olympics. They barely do. Nurture/training/facilities plays as important a role as genes.

Besides the fact that arguments that rely on genes can easily be morphed to straight up eugenics, you got plenty of examples in the NBA itself that prove why its wrong to solely consider genes.

Why does Lithuania, a tiny Baltic country, produce so many NBA players? Probably most per capita in the world.
