Is there a petition for Dan Diedorf to never again call a playoff game?

I don't think I've seen a worst analyst....especially when it comes to his judgement of replays.

This dude had a run of 0-4 on replays before getting it right on the 5th one.

:heh:

This is a dude who made everyone watch an instant replay of a Maurice Carthon two yard run where he fell over himself and called it a "tough run."

:laff:

Get him off our televisions!!!

I said this during the Ravens-Donkey's game...dude was babbling about shyt totally unrelated to the game, incorrect calls and shyt. Plus I think he had money on Denver to cover, you could just tell

s/n: can't wait for Aikman to start acting like this...w/ all the concussions he's suffered thru, you know it's coming

Yea both Gumbel and Dierdorf are 60s so I imagine that the Ian Eagle/Dan Fouts team will get a playoff within 5 years at least.

dude was saying those noodle arm, short passes manning was throwing in the second half saturday were "driving throws," which was only about the 5th dumbest thing i heard from announcers this weekend. billick and aikmans comments about seattle and houston taking late game fgs were about the dumbest things ive ever heard on a telecast

Simms said it and Nantz actually corrected him.

Billick was on another planet. Kick a FG?

When Billick "argued" that with under 2 minutes left in the game, down by five, that the Seahawks "maybe" in 4th down territory because they had all three timeouts, I laughed my ass off.

The weekend was filled with horrible commentary all around

Dierdorf should be off the air when the playoffs come around though...they should keep him on the crew doing regular season Chargers/Browns games

Simms' comment wasnt as egregious becuase I think he just thought Houston was down 10 and not 13.

Billick was just totally lost.

It was actually even worse than that....

There were 44 seconds left and it was 3rd and like 5 from around the ATL 30 with SEA down 27-21 and he said SEA in a spot where they dont get the 3rd down they can think about FG and onsides....:what:

The Seahawks can kick a fieldgoal here and then try for a onside kick

Btw billick is the brother in law of the falcons head coach straight bias.

Dierdorf was horrible as well

Yea I think he completely forgot that the Pats had just kicked the FG to go up 13....Nantz hit him with I don't think that would help much here...:heh:
