Also, there used to be a video on youtube of Wu Tang Clan during one of their first concerts. The place was filled with black people apart from these 2 white teenagers in the front.

They were about to perform Protect Ya Neck, the beat kicks in and ODB just tells dude to stop the beat. Then out of the blue he just starts talking shiet about white people. Imagine how awkward them two white boys must have felt at the time

The first album was also very conservative, and basically a piece of propaganda for the miltary industrial complex. Method Man's torture skit pretty much laid the groundwork for waterboarding.


I won't even touch OB4CL, which was offensive to Italians, mixed race women, jamaicans, and africans not to mention it advocated violence against people in wheelchairs. Gza even popped up to rekindle lingering bad blood from the Civil War by threatening to attack anyone below the mason-dixie line.
