You really don't need to over-explain why you don't want kids. The key is to not make it not seem like it's some noble deed and not a choice people have had for Millenia.

im 40 so i've had my peers as parents for 20+, its usually the same format. 'i'd do anything for them...BUT'

There's my reason that I just don't want them. I like kids, but there's nothing wrong with realizing that responsibility is not for you.

I have not gone through that specific article because it really just serves as a summary of arguments for and against specific positions while also providing general information regarding the history of some fields of thought. So if you are engaged with philosophy, it's just a handy tool for speeding people up on topics, else you can go to the source and engage with the content directly, the SEP is still good for moving people towards a consensus of understanding on a topic if you are not studying it with the help of an educator.

It's always been hard to be a parent because children require constant correction and guidance. Also, kiddos are ignorant to all the ways of life and people have an innate hatred or resentment for the helpless. People loathe kids, pretty much.
