Is the Xbox Series S really worth getting?

Windows central is just following Microsofts gameplan this year. They know the Series S is the only way they can be competitive with nintendo and playstation this holiday season with no compelling software.

They are pricing it so cheap that people are just going to pick them up out of impulse, they are liek 200 dollars right now. Microsoft is gonna continue to lose a lot of money to stay in the race with these

The Series S is trash for people who only judge what they buy on price. It's an all digital console and it only comes with 360GBs of usable space available to install games and stuff on. That's not even getting to the inferior specs or the lack of physical available backwards compatibility. It's just not worth buying rather than getting a Series X having a 1TB drive, having the option of a physical disc drive which could allow you to get games on sale that aren't cheaper on digital, having backwards compatibility with the disc drive, and having better specs.

When the only people recommending a Series S are pro bono MS shills, you should be very skeptical.

These are the same people will lie to your face and claim there's no input lag when playing games over streaming.

We’re mad that the PS5 continues to outsell xbox series x/s even when they are steeply discounted two years into production?

Why? The truth is the series S is just a bad value proposition for any price over 200. Microsoft is losing a shyt ton of money trying to “compete” with sony, from hardware, to software, to services…they are gaining very little marketshare.

Now with the PS5’s in full swing production the gap is only gonna continue to widen. This is a Hail Mary pass for Microsoft. They have made the series S 100 dollars cheaper than the switch, thats desperation.
