And my point is, there's going to be even more unequipped Black folks with Trump gutting educational attainment at the same time that he says we need SMART people and COMPETENT people immigrated legally via H1B or this "Gold Card" he's pushing.

Look at Chicago, NY, and LA and you will see why Black people are tired of them. Many of them, especially from below the border, are more racist than the White people who are already here. They come from nations that treat the Black populations there like crap, and expect to be able to do the same in the US. They are not allies to my people. And therein lies the complexity of the issue. From a nation perspective, the country needs immigrants, and we know that migrants do many of the jobs Americans don't want to do. Just take a look at Nebraska to see what happens when they're suddenly removed. Additionally, the vitiriol against them is intentionally created by Republicans as scapegoats so people don't look at the mega wealthy who have stolen trillions from the population. Divide and conquer, same as it ever was since colonists created the concept of race being an industrialized way to separate people in order to justify the oppression of others.

On the other hand, there is the real concern from black people about many of these people coming in and being racist towards them.

I live in Texas. I grew up in Dallas, but have lived in Houston for the last 11 years. I've definitely have experience with illegal immigrants growing up in the 90s to the present. Illegal immigration is a problem and if you're in the country illegally, you need to be deported. Obviously if you're fleeing LEGIT oppression in your home countries then of course exceptions can be made.

I do think the media, Fox News in particular, make it out to be a bigger deal than it is. American citizens commit the most violent and non violent crime in the country than illegal immigrants, but the way they act, it's illegal immigrants who are the real problem. It's like how they scream about the murder rate in Chicago. Yes, Chicago has a crime problem, but Chicago is not even the city with the largest murder rate. The media will have you thinking living in Chicago is like Beirut in the 80s, Baghdad during the Iraq War, Stalingrad, etc.

The whole argument of Americans not wanting to do these jobs is false. Employers are favoring immigrants and people are not interested in the underpay. Removing them instantly, will take time for the market to adjust. The wages will be forced up, because they can't pay below market wages to US citizens. They are crying about what is happening, but it is because of the illegals that they were able to garner profits by underpaying what the job was worth. With illegals gone, the over abundance of low to no-skilled workers competing with each other will drop, causing the rise in wages.
