Yeah... I am specifically talking about the actual phrase.It's people at the bottom pulling each other down so nobody gets out. It's American society in a nutshell. The rich and powerful get whatever they want but let someone that's not too far off from me get something and I'm upset as fukk about it.
Example: all the corporate welfare that goes out and it's not a problem to all these people but COVID hit and normal people got handouts and people lost their shit. I work a blue collar job and people were getting upset at it that McDonalds workers were fighting for $15 an hour back then because they felt threatened somebody working a shyt job would get closer to a living wage. The whole being against the public option for healthcare.
Our whole society is poor and middle class people infighting over bullshit while the rich steal the farm and nobody really says shit.
