It depends it’s a mix of xenophobia and legitimate concern I remember my this hood barbershop in Delaware had Black Americans barbers always complaining and joking that the Haitian immigrants was taking the apartment complex next to the shop over (this was like 2015). So I don’t know if the residents felt pushed out or what but at the same time the Haitian nikkas brought a lot of new business to the shop as well and kind of blended into the community well don’t really cause problems idk in other communities immigrants are really causing trouble like that but to bring a huge population of foreigners to a town struggling in resources can have it’s pros and cons.
Haitians do not blend into anywhere unless they don't have their own communities yet.
They work diligently to drive out any non Haitians over a long period of time, like all other demographics (minus FBA)
