Once BYD hits American soil, it'll be spooky hours for Tesla. Friend of mine just picked up the perf model of BYD seal sedan. He also has a M4 and says the BYD feels just as premium. Paid about half the price you'd pay for a comparatively spec'd Tesla.

Rivian, Chevy and another company already gave up and decided to adopt the tesla plug. Other companies will do the same. So Tesla will be getting paid even off other EVs. In a few years every Rivian, Chevy, etc EV sold will benefit Tesla.
