plot wise season 3 was relatively slow compares to seasons 1 and 2. none of the episodes really had that type of energy.
plus shyt was comedic gold.

yea season 3 got some flack for not bein up to par as seasons 1 and 2 (which were GOAT).
season 3 was the first real "scare" that the show might be dipping in quality... (which mind you was still ground breaking television because even at it's worst the sopranos is still the best show ever)
but in actuality the quality of the show did not dip at all imo. if you watched that show because of the characters, then the show delivered. if you watched that show because of the plot... then yea, season 3 is when the plot started to move a lot slower. if there are any negative complaints about seasons 3 and on... it probably stems from the fact that they move a lot SLOWER.
but i maintain the show stayed king from start to finish. i've seen people criticize some of the later seasons but sorry i just don't see it. i've seen people criticize the ending but sorry i've grown to appreciate it. no other show has ever delved into the lives, and the SOULS, of it's characters than the sopranos did. i LOVE those character driven episodes.
man don't even get me started on the sopranos. GOAT show. GOAT anything to ever to hit television PERIOD.

I definitely have it in my Top 5. I go back in forth with whether I like The Sopranos or The Wire better. Game of Thrones making a strong push for Top 5 status for me as well.
