This was back when radio stations used to have the quiet storm. K-104 used to play slow jams I think either from 10 or 12 at night to about 5 in the morning s-thur

Down here in sa they play slow jams from 10-12 and if you heard the playlist you’d cry physical tears and wonder what the fukk went wrong. You’re just as likely to hear Warren gs regulate cause it’s laid back and mellow as you are any real slow jam.

El Debarge does a nice rendition of his part when he does shows.

Quincy did a good job putting the four biggest R&B stars at that time on that song. It was like a mega hit in R&B. I often think of a new secret garden with artists from the 90's and I struggle with it. Because they would have to match up vocally and soul wise too. I don't see anyone truly matching up except Maxwell and to a lesser extent R.Kelly and Babyface. Meh.
They weren’t the biggest at the time. Their voices just sounded great together.
