As good as phones are they still cannot compete with a Mirrorless camera. Photography is a hobby and is also a costly investment. What's most important are the lenses. If you want take up photography on a budget there are plenty of mid tier cameras under $1000 in the used market. I've been taking photos on my Pixel for years but finally decided to buy a Sony A6600 and it's a night a day difference. If you go FujiFilm they have one of the best kit lens on the market. Samsung has also recently been called out for their suspect moon photos so take that with a grain of salt. Also from my understanding DSLR is a thing of the past and Mirrorless (APS-C or Full Frame) is what you're looking for.

Samsung released a 72mm lens attachment so for all you professional photographers out there that already have lenses can use them on s21 and S22 Ultra. But it’s either out of stock or no longer on sale. I wonder if I can use it on S23 Ultra?

I really need a CPL Circular Polarizer bad because of where I live. I’ve been googling my ass off and learned that the clip-on ones are too small for the big ass S23 camera island. Galaxy S22/S21 Series Professional Camera Lens Filter | Samsung Canada
