Is the Israel vs Hamas conflict really all about AL-AQSA?

Is the root of the Israel/Palestine conflict Al-Aqsa Mosque?

Reminder, the video isn’t my personal views. It just reflects what some people think around the world and stuff I see trending online. :hubie:

what does it mean to be "pro-red heifer"? :jbhmm:

:ohhh: @MMS

Sidenote: I didn’t know this thread was still open. One last post before it potentially gets replies locked.

What is the significance of this @Koichos?
As a solar eclipse (by definition) can ONLY occur during a new moon, it is hardly surprising that one of these will inevitably coincide with the New Year festival of Rοsh Hashanah, the 1st of the month of Tishri; because, as I have stated before, our months are lunar in character, each starting when the moon is in its new phase.

But does it have any other significance in prophecy for Israel? :jbhmm:

Maybe @MMS can answer this :lolbron:

It's about land and profit. That's it.

Israel is a peaceful version of the "solution" Europe came up with for their Jewish "problem". It has been working exactly as planned. They spend some money every year to make it an attractive destination for people with Jewish heritage to go to, and in so doing they get rid of people they don't like but know not to insult and discriminate against in public.

The problem is that when you set up a country with no immigration limit for a specific group of people, they're going to need housing. So then Israel does what the people that established it were doing for hundreds of years: they expand their borders.

Meanwhile foreigners can invest in the new apartment complexes and businesses being built as the country expands its borders.

It's really that simple. Israel is a source of money, and a expulsion point for people deemed "undesirable". Just like how the civil rights campaign didn't magically end all racist hatred that white people had been passing down to their descendants for generations, the establishment of Israel didn't suddenly destroy antisemitic conspiracy theories and sentiment. There are still people who think jews control everything, and those people want those jews sent away somewhere else.

I agree it’s all about money but above all this is the religious element which makes it all possible and makes the conflict never ending :manny:

But anyways @MMS i was thinking the other day what if the “war” escalates and one of those random Iranian missiles “accidentally” hits the Temple Mount area destroying the mosque :damn:

Then we will really see what conflict is about. :leon:

Ok. I had to debunk some doomsday obsessed Christians. Thanks
you have to think backwards to understand the doomsday problem that arises and from whom

IE why is the temple mount of importance to you? in America?

remember its significance comes from Abraham and ultimately his meeting with the Angel of the Lord

Ah, figures. I vividly remember them making a huge fuss about the 2014-2015 tetrad (four consecutive total eclipses of the moon) occurring on Pesaħ and Sukkοt.
  1. 15th April 2014 = 15th Nisan 5774 (1st day of Pesaħ)
  2. 8th October 2014 = 14th Tishri 5775 (Sukkοt Eve)
  3. 4th April 2015 = 15th Nisan 5775 (shabbat, and 1st day of Pesah)
  4. 28th September 2015 = 15th Tishri 5776 (1st day of Sukkοt)
But none of these were visible from Eretz Yisra'el, either (I was in Me'ah Sh'arim during the first two eclipses of the tetrad and it was a total non-event because it occurred after sunrise, in broad daylight—when the moon could not even be seen at all!); and since a lunar eclipse can only occur at a full moon, there is nothing remotely unusual about one happening on or around the 1st day of Pesaħ and the 1st day of Sukkοt: these ħaggim ('festivals') always coincide with the full moon.
