Drago was more evil...literally killed a man
Drago would have been in prison for manslaughter.
There’s been thousands of ring deaths throughout history but not a single one that I know of where the guy literally shoves the ref away and then beats the guy for another 10 seconds and the guy dies.
The Director’s Cut tones it down and tries to humanize Drago more, but still keeps him shoving the ref away. I don’t know why Stallone kept that in since he was trying to make Drago more sympathetic.
