It seemed like it was dyin' for a minute when teams like Pats, Colts, Chargers, Rams, etc were runnin' spread offenses. But I would say 90% of the games this weekend had both teams using a lead blocker. What y'all think?

im tryin to see anyother CAC Alstott.

i remember when he was basically the face of the tampa bay offense.

Thing is..dude wasnt a traditional FB. He was really just a big ass RB. He couldnt run block too well...

But....thats my FB :to:

cuz them nikkas can catch.

TEs and FBs are underrated. They can add value in either pass/run plays...keeps the defenses guessing. These hybrid nikkas (gronk, hernandez, graham and old school FBs like Neal, Alstott etc..) are dangerous because they are faster/more coordinated than most at their positions.

I've always been a fan of the fullback position. I'm a Cowboy fan and seeing Moose blow up all those linebackers and opening up holes for Emmitt just always told me that it's better to have a lead blocker. Even in Madden i run out of straight I formation most of the time.

Wasn't it Moose who started that whole "horse collar" (don't know what the f*ck it's called) trend with the protective piece of foam plastic sticking out the back of his neck. That dude was bout dat blockin' life :wow:
