The cotto that fought floyd was in great shape, motivated, on a winning streak, And comfortable at that weight.he was NOT the same cotto that fought trout. And the one that fought trout isn't the same one that got with roach and beat Sergio

Trout is no bum, he only has 2 losses, Canelo and Lara, and Canelo was questionable. We obviously had a rough year in 2012 but lets remember, our only other losses are to Manny and Floyd. Here is a sobering statline, in all over his fights, he's only had one judge having him lose on the cards and it shouldn't have been that with Oscar. That's insane. This fight was clear to judge. cotto will never beat austin trout..styles make fights..too much size and strength and hes a southpaw ..and especially that trout has become more offensive as of late..in fact if they fought again...i wouldnt be surprised if trout stops him with body work

Cotto is a hell of a fighter and Floyd had to work in the ring for a change when they met. But he still did more then enough to win and beat a world class fighter. But i do wish they would have met around that 2007-2007 time frame. Before Cotto got bludgeoned with a fighter that probably had plaster of paris in his gloves.
