It started with Stephane week after week emasculating the entire Raw roster for two year straight. Making everyone there look like pussies.

Then they bring in the face of this movement Rousey aka the baddest woman on the planet in and off gate she kicking male asses. She threw Triple h through a table and then had him cowering in the corner like a pansy on their Mania match.

Then you have Lynch calling herself "the man" and being booked aggressively as the female Austin, Rousey took further shots at men in a promo weeks back and now these two are basically the faces of their brand and most masculine

You have the worst color commentator of all time with Renee Young because of it

Whereas most of the men are booked like goofs, partaking in silly to meaninless angle which are leading to heatless matches and nothing memorable at all.

You could say that about all the women aside from Becky, Charlotte, Ronda, and Nia.

Except that that isn’t the case. Bad booking has plagued both the men’s and women’s rosters. I’ll give you a few examples:
Naomi won the battle royal at Mania which mattered little in the grand scheme of thing since it didn’t grant her any title shots or elevate her in status, much in the same way that the Andre trophy meant shyt to whoever’s won it over the years.

The Iconics were a hot act in NXT that’s since come up to do nothing, and I can point to many different talents, male and female, that that is also true for.

Asuka only just recently not only had been rehabbed from bad booking, but was also finally used after sitting on the bench for how long for no reason? The sames been true for say, Nakamura who’s been mostly MIA since he won the US title save for a few appearances. shyt, when’s the last time you saw Shelton Benjamin? Get my point?


What makes it seem like the women are being pushed at the expense of the men is the fact that they’ve had a transcendent talent who’s had the juice in Becky Lynch, as well as having delivered strong outings in ring all year long. I put that on the talent themselves, not necessarily booking. The women have had to overcome the same shyt, they’ve just been better at it

It was okay in small doses, but now it's too much. They got whole ppvs & a female commentary

Say what you want, but the bra & panties matches used to be must watch.

I don't even play as the female wrestlers on the videogames.

The women's matches physically are not as athletic or impressive as the best men's matches, but the 2 womens title matches were the best at TLC. In terms of just the difficulty of what their physical bodies did, AJ vs Bryan and Rey vs Orton were better matches, but the women's title matches got better reactions and were more exciting. I'm not sure whether the women are just booked to be more interesting characters or if the current womens roster is just more charismatic and unique than the men's, but that's what's happening. It's fake, so the athleticism, quality of selling, lack of botches, all only kind of matter. If you don't care who wins then none of it matters.
