shyt just reeks of desperation :scusthov: ol' sly getting nostalgic and tryna bring back the glory days with a dated premise. no one fukking cares. the expendable sequels are something nobody asked for and dude's just pumping them out like its in hot demand. I for one am glad part 3 flopped hard. fukk sly :pacspit:

sad about sin city tho :to: I wish it did better at the box office

Without question. The idea was 10 years too late to begin with.
I'd say Grown Ups is more forced :ld:

I mean, it's 2014. Who the fukk finds Kevin James funny?

It's no more "Forced" than any other ensemble flick.

This one just happens to be in the action genre.

Nah, the Expendables is much more forced because they really thought they were going to relive their glory days. They're trying way too hard.

Grown ups is just another Adam Sandler tax writeoff vacation with rich, famous friends. They weren't trying at all with that. Two different categories.

I love the series personally. Just got back from seeing the third one and I was thoroughly entertained.

I'm a fan of pretty much everything Sly has done recently. Escape Plan, Bullet To The Head, The Expendables, etc. all those movies are great to me. If he dropped Expendables 4 I'd definitely be excited to watch it :yeshrug:

Only saw the first 2 films and I won't be watching the 3rd one.

They lack the campiness that made most of them famous, and what are left are hollow movies filled with forgettable scenes and pointless relationships.
Jean Claude Van Damme and maybe Terry Crews were the only decent characters.
