You are so quick to throw around overrated and are only using that he is a trash shooter. Basketball is not about one player being the greatest scorer of all time.
This is why I tell that a lot of you guys who rely on youtube clips and internet box scores have never watched some of these players play. Jason Kidd even in his late 30's was still a better point guard than the majority of the leagues starting point guards.
So his field goal percentage was trash, but what about his defense? his steals, him setting up his teamates and his rebounds? Dude is #2 for steals, #2 for assists, yet he is overrated
The fact that Jason Kidd has 105 triple doubles, #3 ALL-TIME goes to show that he compensated for her tuuuurrrbblllleee FG% by playing on all sides of the court. But I know you will say he is a stat padder, yet da gawd Lebron only has 29 triple doubles and he is a great stat padder

Yeah Kidd was a great defender, but defense isn't weighted the same among the different positions. It doesn't have as much impact as big men. There's countless series where the PG is getting destroyed(lakers during the fisher era) and still win easily.
You judge PG's on what they do on offense(why magic is GOAT)and how they run an offense, and kidd was an awful offensive player for the majority of his career. He just recently became a DECENT 3 point shooter. Yeah he set his teammates up and was a great passer, but those nets teams were AWFUL offensively, Kidd never ran a good offensive team
As for his triple doubles, most of them were on bad shooting nights. Kidd would 3-17 from the field but get 10 rebounds and 10+ assists and peop would say "OMG triple Double".

Nobody that knows about J Kidd's career would ever say what you've already said. Nothing I say will enlighten you because you're someone who looks up FG %s for point guards and is quick to say "overrated".Again NOTHING disputing my points. Prove me wrong then
