You’re so passionate and a die hard. Congratulations, my nikka.

The point remains: Wrestlemania is supposed to feel like a culmination of feuds. It’s not.

TBH, if we named off all the feuds that had matches at Mania and didn't end there, it's a long ass list. Sometimes, that's where feuds started.

Tbh I never understood why they had rematches from Wrestlemania the Raw after Wrestlemania. Like what was the point of Mania if I’m getting the same match on Raw tomorrow (Asuka and Rhea for example).

Its almost 40 years deep now
When most of us started watching wrestling ,wrestlemania was in its pre or mid teens id say
Mostly everything has been done b4 at this point and its all watered down bullshyt

Why did John Cena and AJ Styles have their blow off match at the Royal Rumble when WrestleMania was right there, when Cena going for his 16th title reign was a potential main event?

Kayfabe, John was the old, over the hill lion that had lost the sauce. Ambrose & Styles had beaten him clean and the rest of the locker room was only getting younger. Doubt, frustration, and resentments naturally creeps in, & Cena pulling out the old chain to put AJ to sleep & win #16 with a heel turn in the main event of WM literally wrote itself. Cena becoming the dirtiest player in the game to surpass the dirtiest player in the game (Ric Flair) with #16. I dunno how they managed to mess that one up.

:why:

No.

The past two Wrestlemanias have been held during a pandemic. One of them was in an empty arena.

Night one had the Wrestlemania magic, but in general, they just forgot how to actually build stuff in the past few years (and by past few years, I may actually mean since 2009). Also, they've generally had so many PPVs even before Mania, then will instantly have rematches for it. Mania is supposed to be the blowoff, not the setup for future Raw and Smackdown matches. But @DANJ! is also right. Father time gets everything, including wrestling.

The last two years have been under weird circumstances. If Covid is gone by next years WM expect them to go harder than Viagra...
The pop for Edge's entrance is one of the loudest I've heard recently, imagine if they had 100k in the building like they might next year in Texas instead of the 25k they had this year :mjlol:

Mania started losing its magic for me after 30 tbh. But I will say mania 37 night 1 felt like a big event.
