Is the actual wrestling in AEW better than in WWE?

Let me put it this way:
AEW is basically NJPW with not so much of a overkill amount of time with the after match stuff. Meaning that the matches are long as hell, some have good storytelling (Cody/Jericho), while others need to dial it back a bit (Omega/Moxley). On that note, yes. I would rather watch a NJPW Americanized match over the more basic WWE style type of matches

I haven't watched NXT since AEW started, but I've enjoyed almost everything AEW has put out so far. The WWE women's matches are miles ahead of AEW though

Even though shyt gets out of hand sometime, I think AEW has really strong tag team wrestling and they dont abuse the fukk out of the hot tag. NXT has better singles matches.
AEW has better promos. NXT is is wrestling for almost 2 hours, and there is nothing wrong with that.
If you're consistently watching Raw and Smackdown, you lost because you're just watching an inferior product from top to bottom than what Wednesday nights are putting out.

Wrestling wise RAW and Smackdown are total garbage... not one surprising or compelling thing happens in any match. Also, whether anyone wins or loses, it doesn't feel like it matters to any storyline at all.
NXT generally the match quality is high tier.
AEW is varied... especially their wack women's division puts them under NXT. In fact, I would trade almost all of AEW women just to get Io Shirai and Bianca Belair.
But AEW still does have compelling and entertaining matches on every show.
