No it will never get played out. Nikkas know the 90s had the GOAT R&B :ohlawd:. My moms stayed playing the jams through the house when I was little:wow:

post some examples...outside of a few songs I haven't even noticed it
This. The only songs I can think of are Big Sean's "Play No Games" and Tory Lanez's "Say It".

I'm all for it. We need more current Hip-Hop, R&B, & even Pop music sampling late 80's-90's Contemporary R&B/New Jack Swing/Hip-Hop Soul.

This trend is happening because songs from the 90s evoke emotions and feelings that can't be replicated with the way music is currently produced. If you listen to these same things without the samples you would immediately realise that the samples are the only reason these songs are worth listening to.

I mean, this is gonna happen when people who grew up on that music get in a position to make music.

Just like 70s and 80s samples dominated in the early 90s and early 2000s.

itll probably die out in a few years, then the 2000 babies will be old enough to start sampling Ashanti, Destiny Child, Nivea, Lil Mo, Mariah, Mya and w/e other R&B that was hot at the time.
