The true ending was Sam "dying" to seal Lucifer. Bobby and Cas dead. Dean is the only one alive and goes off to live with Lisa and Ben.

The show was at it's absolute peak numbers wise that season 6 got greenlit so they had to make last min changes to the season 5 finale. They brought back Cas and Bobby(God brings back Cas. Cas brings back Bobby) And Sam is back from Hell(As we know in season 6 Cas brings him back but without a soul)

Don't want to spoil it for anybody but a few things in no order
-God finally made his debut
-Amara came back from the void and wanted God's head on a platter for sealing her away back when before there was light in the universe
-Dean inherited the mark of Cain
-Mama Winchester came back from the grave as a gift from God
-Lucifer had a son (Jack)
-Crowley is dead (I think)
-Jack opened a door to another universe (alternative version of Earth where angels rule the world)
-Michael (alternative universe archangel) is trying to get to the Winchester's world to take over and find Lucifer who's grace he took.
-Kevin is alive in the alternative universe and still a prophet.
-Asmodeus is the new king of hell (he's pretty good)
"I am Asmodeus, here to rule until such time as Lucifer returns with his son. And there are gonna be some changes. The grand old days of fire and brimstone are back.

I agree with the majority of people saying it should've ended back after Dean sealed Luicfer and Sam in hell and Cas died in Season 5. Death is still my favorite character ever on this show.

You talking about Rabids and yes it was Season 11. Amara created it from The Darkness and infected people.

:patrice:unless he's referring to S8 after Dean came back from purgatory :jbhmm:Which was another top season and also had Supernatural back on track. Get to watching :ufdup:
