suge was never praised legacy wise as the predominant mantra in this community.

I know. The disconnect is on this board. Posters praise Suge for stealing Deathrow, promoting gangsterism, materialism, & negativity while robbing his artists

Then they turn around and hate Stoute for doing the same thing. Except at least Stoute got folks paid in the process and opened some doors without strong arming anyone into selling out.

Meanwhile the dominant view on this board is that IWW was some sort of masterpiece.

Regardless of what side of the fence you're on from the jiggy era Versace wars this doesn't make any sense. Everyone the average Hip Hop fans praises or shyts on from that era took the step to sell out collectively. Retroactively picking and choosing men of integrity based on how successful they were is sucker shyt. Especially when fans abandoned anyone who wasn't benefitting from the major label machine.

He's a genius. That said, his book was less than stellar, especially after having read The Big Payback. The book was basically like a pat on the back from himself to himself, and you can definitely see how he's a shark.

That said, he's a business guy so it's pretty much what you'd expect.

This is why I don't get the Stoute criticism. As far as I know, he's never presented himself as anything other than a typical business guy. A snake isn't really a snake if you know it's a snake.

Basically.

and truth be told, he's smart enough to "sell culture" to these corporations looking for new companies. The music industry went to shyt around the time when he got out and he needed to reinvent himself. I don't think of him as a marketing genius along the lines of say Dame or someone like that, but he is smart.

Stoute does come off as extremely smug, though. He talks like it and you can hear it. That said, I follow Curtis Sc00n and he's a great follow, but at times, i think he comes off as jealous of certain people. Knowing damn well he'd be doing what they're doing if he was in their place.

Sc00n is a real ass dude. One of the few twitter celebs who really gets into it w/ his followers. But yeah, I think he has personal issues with the NY Hip Hop elite outside of just their music. He gives 50 and Jay their props, but you can tell he resents how they got rich portraying what him and his friends were doing.

I'm not mad at him. He's mostly right.

prolific posting.

only reason they praise nas is because he sold out.
yet, real talk,..
if nas never sold out.
jay would have never thought he could do a record with him.
nor, would jay have ever in his right mind thought and been damn near successful at limiting nas via battle.

I lol, when nikkaz stan for the sellouts.
as, I know they just giving passes.
as they secretly want to emulate and copy/bit the same way of thinking, admin, and business decision with no cultural responsibility themselves.
which is some toy ass shyt.
every nikka who stans nas, and bites him is in violation, culturally.
yet, because they try to hide behind nas's fake cultural allegiance.
when, nas is the main catalyst as an artist.
while puff, and stout are the main masterminds and business admin's who perpetrated destroying the draw/profitability and cultural protection mechanism with nas.

yet, his stans always try to shield this fact from exposal.

it won't happen on this forum as I will always cite the fact, and take the tour bus and roll over any and every sellout in rap, and hiphop, period.

that shyt ain't rock'n on my watch.....

first off,...
you must be kidding if you think I don' t hold any and everyone accountable.
yet, the main reason we are where we are, is because nas sould't out.
the sector and lineage of the protectors who took down hammer, and others.

nas was put on by:

then, bit organized,..and then when asked about it.
said he did not know who they were.
when, it is a direct connection of organized to main source.
do you know the connection?

nas also, sould't out on the rnb remix of one love the remix.
