Not even top 10. In order to be considered a top 10 director you have to have written your great films imo, not just directed them. You give James Cameron Jurassic Park or any of these Spielberg big budget films and you would have gotten an even bigger box office hit - and Cameron isn't even considered top 10.

Definitely not. His entire carreer was geared towards making money rather then making some amazing genre defining films.
