they had people's info in a folder non-encrypted. If you giving them your information now, you asking to get your identity stolen.

I bought my PSN pass off Amazon. no way am I giving Sony my info.

If they have your CC info in the database and it's a widespread hack they'll give you your money back np or it would be a PR lynching.

Just fill your wallet and delete your card.

i understand and never disputed that....but the original topic of the thread was about sony doing something if your account got hacked and someone used your shyt to buy things, as in a refund or whatever....that's why my original response is what it is....your response to me was about something else that i wasnt talking about....but yes, you're correct, if your info is stolen, it dont matter if you get a refund or not, your shyt is out there....to that i still say: the sky isnt falling....i say that cause your info can be stolen anytime, from anyplace you use a debit/credit card; you surf and do shyt on the internet; etc...if that possibility scares you that much, go off the grid and pay for everything in cash....

I'm still bugging on how Destiny full game just popped up on my PS4 no charge was applied to any of my accounts or nothing. It just started downloading the day of Sony's E3 press conference. shyt was weird.

So basically if your account gets hacked and the hacker buys stuff they don't have to refund you and if file a chargeback they will ban your account and you lose all access to everything you purchased.

I will never give Sony access to and valid payment method I have. PSN cards to buy stuff only.

Breh I'm saying most companies are not going to claim they hold all responsibility in these situations. That's for your bank.

Show me these dudes who proved that their shyt was stolen, then contacted Sony and showed them the proof, and then Sony was like nah


Most people would go to their bank/PayPal first. If someone stole my info and charged 200 dollars to Sony, I'm calling the company who that card is with and demanding a refund.
