I NEVER said Season 5 was a bad season. Season 5 of "The Wire" is still good television. But if you rank the 5 seasons from Best to Worst, Season 5 is definitely the worst.

Man, Season 5 definitely has the weakest writing/story direction. That's why I think most folks have it as the weakest season.
