Thats a stone cold lie..Bayley has never put performed Sasha in any year. Not even close. Sasha has had better matches with the same people Bayley has dad..shes had better matches than the ones Charlotte has had..Ronda has had..Asuka is a HOF performer. The only one close on the main roster. Bianca, current Naomi, Liv, Ruby, Nikki Cross, Lacey..get real.
Bayley is getting pushed because the company held that grudge against Sasha post Mania but Sasha was top 5 female performer in WWE history back in 2017 when Bayley was getting buried in This is your Life segments.
This is that type of shyt in 2000 when everyone thought Cripple H was a stand out but really he was just surrounded by great names and went over alot. He was never better than Rock, Benoit, Eddie. Ever.
I think maybe because of her gimmick, and her shytty storylines you aren't giving her in-ring work credit. Sasha used to botch all the time and move a million miles a second. Now she takes her time with her spots, and hardly fukks up at all. Bayley has always been good at that, but she's been made to look a geek for the majority of her storylines. Sasha had high profile matches, and even won some of them. Now that Bayley's turned heel, everyone loves her, but it's not cuz she was slouching in her ring work before then. It's cuz she doesn't have to play a total dweeb babyface. Sasha as a face was at least cool because she wasn't "a fan living her dream".
If you want to put Sasha number 1 in-ring, that's fine. Character wise, there is no debate Bayley is carrying this team though. The level of troll to her is amazingly entertaining.
And we don't know any of the REAL story between the Sasha leaving shyt, so let's keep that out. We don't even know why Sasha left. She could have just needed a personal break from wrestling in general and was fine with dropping the title to the Iconics. She could have been mad at dropping the titles. She could have wanted to go back to singles and they wanted them to stay in the tag div (even though she HAS stated she wanted to build the tag div up and had no problem not being a singles at the time). Bayley getting that push could have been because Sasha left and they had no one for her to team with. Not out of spite, but they just generally came around on Bayley needing a gimmick change and Charlotte was stale af at the time. If they really were holding a grudge, they would never have pushed Bayley at all, (I used to argue this all the time, that Bayley getting pushed would only make Sasha happy) Don't just take dirtsheet reports as true information.
There was even people saying Sasha playing sidekick to Bayley upon her return was whack and a waste of potential, when her whole buildup to where she is now has been pretty decent. She literally returned into the main event scene, aiding her best friend world champ. Acting as the tune-up role. Now she is a tag champ, and getting world title shots on the other brand. You could not have asked for a more perfect return run, but people were bytching the moment she returned instead of seeing where it goes.
