Damn shame..basically it seems like they chose the Shield over him. Odd move after he brought in returns on PPV.

A character like Ryback, at it's peak, can only do so much imo. The whole "unstoppable unbeatable muscle guy" win streak shyt can only go so far, and if the character is based entirely on that, their potential and expiry date is limited unless the character evolves into something else.

Vince McMahon has protected far less than him. Great Khali destroyed the Undertaker on PPV in 2007 once.

True, but McMahon has protected a lot of the same prototypes that all ended up flopping. (Khali, Kozlov, Snitsky when they tried to push him as a monster heel with the teeth and shyt, etc ...)

Point is, protecting Shield (3 potential stars) at the expense of Ryback is :manny: to me. If Ryback cannot succeed without booking protecting him all the time then he probably does not deserve the spot anyways.

That's the thing. It was working. I was there a few weeks ago..those Feed Me More chants are pretty fukking over with those kids. Shield is just a heel group looking good until John Cena catches up with them. They WILL go down...it's just been prolonged a little.

Ryback was ready to make them some money. He had that once in a lifetime type of hype where all they had to do was pull the trigger. We'll never truly know where that would have gone had he won Hell in a Cell

fukked themselves by booking into a corner with no way out

I still thought he should have been undefeated going to Wrestlemania after winning the Royal Rumble to challenge the Big Show and Ryback Wins... only for Dolph Dawg to cash in and steal the title leading to a new exciting feud.

That would have been the ideal plan if someone with patience was booking the show.

:why: why do you nikkas act like you dont know how the scale works?

Star does his thing..gets a major/semi major push. Gets "de-pushed" to test his medal and love for the business and gets pushed again. We've seen this countless times. His recent run and buzz without a belt > ADR Swagger Sheamus first times with a belt so dont get caught up in him having the title or not.

he's still a rookie..it happens and its gonna happen to the Ambrose too.

There's still plenty of hope for Ryback - put a belt on him or something. He was the second to go in the Rumble and he's still plenty over. I think turning him bad might be a mistake. Have no clue why they're thinking that - it's not time for that yet.
